You won’t see it from Lakeview Road or any of our camp entrances, but deep in our 144 acres, God is blessing us in a new way.
This fall, a new maintenance building has taken shape in woods off Burma Trail, behind Paint Ball Hill and the residences. This 2,500-square-foot facility will allow us to consolidate operations in one site — a garage, workshop, storage and construction area all in one out-of-sight location.
The building is being constructed by staff and volunteers, mostly using lumber milled on-site from camp trees using a sawmill purchased through donations a year ago. The trusses, which arrived this week, were donated one at a time by guests at our annual dinner auction in November.
