Special summer dining at Sac

fancystickyYou’re always welcome to join us for meals during the summer camping season, but weekends are special at Hilltop Dining Hall. Start your Saturday nights at our themed smorgasbords, before a free concert at the Tabernacle. And bring your friends here after church on Sundays for Sac Sunday Dinner, a casual but traditional noontime meal.

SATURDAY SMORGASBORDS

Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. Cost: $12 per person ($10 ages 7-11, $8 ages 4-6). Reservations are encouraged at (518) 883-3713. Menu is subject to change. 

JUNE 27 — PICNIC: Fried chicken, sausage & peppers, redskin-dill potato salad, pasta salad, buttermilk coleslaw, kettle-cooked potato chips, biscuits, blueberry semifreddo.

JULY 4 — STEAK NIGHT: Our famous tri-tip steak with blue cheese fondue, pasta primavera, baked potato bar, roasted vegetable medley, green bean casserole, tossed salad, dinner rolls, New York-style cheesecake.

JULY 11 — SOUTHERN: Shrimp & grits, smothered pork loin, roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon, corn with tomatoes & okra, black cherry-Coke jello salad, tossed salad, biscuits, banana bread pudding.

JULY 18 — PRIME RIB: Carved prime rib, chicken with Dijon cream sauce, herb-crusted potatoes, sauteed squash, chilled asparagus with lemon vinaigrette, tossed salad, dinner rolls, apple dumplings with vanilla sauce.

JULY 25 — ITALIAN: Chicken Parmesan, Sunday gravy (pork ragu), pasta Milanese, white beans with endive and radicchio, broccoli with roasted garlic cloves, tossed salad, garlic bread, cannolis.

AUG. 1 — SURF & TURF: Garlic roast beef, cod with salsa verde, lemon potatoes, sugar snap peas, Greek salad, tossed salad, dinner rolls, citrus dessert bars.

AUG. 8 — BARBECUE: Pulled pork, BBQ chicken, macaroni & cheese, baked beans, corn on the cob, tossed salad, biscuits, pineapple cornbread, strawberry shortcake layer cake. Note: Because of the number of guests expected, the buffet line will open at 5 p.m.

AUG. 15 — FARM TABLE: A seasonal menu featuring locally grown produce and regional specialties, including Pede Bros. pasta, Rauch’s Bakery bread and vegetables from the Mohawk Valley Produce Auction.

SEPT. 5 — AN OLD-FASHIONED DINNER: Carved ham and roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas with bacon and onions, green bean casserole, tossed salad, dinner rolls, blueberry-whipped cream cake.

JUNE 28: Roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, dinner rolls, pound cake.

JULY 5: Slow-cooked brisket, potato wedges, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, dinner rolls, chocolate cake.

JULY 12: Roast chicken with curry sauce, rice, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, dinner rolls, assorted cake.

JULY 19: Roast pork, au gratin potatoes, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, dinner rolls, lemon cream cake.

JULY 26: Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, dinner rolls, chocolate truffle cake.

AUG. 2: Spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, garlic breadsticks, strawberry shortcake.

AUG. 9: Pepper steak, rice, selection of vegetables, tossed salad, dinner rolls, assorted cakes.
