For more than 80 years, Sacandaga Bible Conference has preached the Gospel and sought to save lost souls in New York’s southern Adirondacks.
While the camp, its leadership, and its guests have changed through generations, the mission has not: To reach, equip, and disciple kids of all ages with the gospel of Christ through Biblical truths, enabling them to reach the world for Christ.
Sac now offers several year-round programs, with dynamic youth and family camp opportunities during the summer, and retreats and special events the rest of the year.
The seven-week youth camp includes day and overnight programs for children from kindergarten through high school. Campers participate in dozens of different group activities and games, learning new skills, while being challenged in daily chapel services by guest speakers a Christian staff who loves them.
The four-week family camp program gives parents and children a chance to come closer together and relax in God’s creation while hearing the Word preached twice a day from renowned speakers.
Every Saturday in the summer, Sac serves up a fantastic smorgasbord, followed by a free Christian concert. Throughout the year, Sac also offers other special events, including a fall festival, a dinner auction, a Christmas dinner and cantata, a daylong sportsmen’s event and a Valentine’s Day dinner.
And throughout the year, the camp hosts retreat groups from churches, schools and other Christian organizations, providing lodging, meals, meeting space and a place for guests to grow closer to God.
